The whole drive from Phoenix, Nina watched Rick blowing up her phone with texts and phone calls.
Baby, R u OK? Call me. I love you.
Ma, where R u?
Part of her wanted to respond, but the other part, the rational part, said she was responding by driving to L.A. She didnât know what she would find. Her rationale told her Rickâs old flame was dead, but her intuition was screaming, Heâs cheating on you!
What other reason would a man just totally cut a woman off for? Not to mention the fact he had changed the place they had stashed the money. Drastic times called for desperate measures! her mind screamed. Only she wasnât prepared for what she found.
Nina pulled onto the street where Rick used to live. She spotted his Benz parked in the driveway, realizing this wasnât his old house. âWhat the fuck?â She parked next to his car, unsure what to do next. Then she looked around, surveying her surroundings, and saw two figures on the porch. The man had dreads. She looked closer. Are they? They were fucking! And it wasnât just any man and woman. It was Rick, fucking another woman!
Nina felt like she might throw up. She could tell by how his body was jerking that he was cumming inside of her. Finally, Rickâs eyes met hers. Ninaâs stomach may have felt queasy, but as she killed the engine and jumped out of the van, the Westside Trenton came out of her.
âNina, whatââ Rick tried to say, standing at the top of the stairs.
He knew he was busted. Kyra scrambled to fix her clothes.
âDonât what me!â Nina barked as she stormed up the stairs. âYou got me at home worried the hell about you, wondering if youâre all right, and youâre out fucking your ex-wife on porches.â
Rick restrained her. âSheâs not my ex-wife.â
âThen who is she, Rick? Who isâ?â she started to say, but when she looked at Kyra, she knew exactly who she was.
It canât be!
But it was, and the resemblance was undeniable. Kyra may have been a little more petite, but it was obvious who she was. They eyed each other for a moment. Then Nina snapped out of it by slapping the shit out of Rick.
âYou told me that she was dead, you lying piece of shit!â
Rick took the slap, knowing he deserved it. But when she swung to slap him again, he grabbed her. Nina pulled away but fell down.
âYou pushed me!â she cried out in disbelief.
âI didnât push you,â Rick replied, trying to help her up.
Nina scrambled to her feet, yelling, âGet away from me! Rick, you lied to me! How could you lie about something like that? That is so cruel.â
âNina, Iââ
âAnd youâBitch? Did you know that he had a family? That Iâm pregnant? Didnât he tell you that?â
All hell broke loose as Angel, Jaz, Trae, and then Tasha raced out of the house. Trae came out to help Rick because Angel and Jaz were trying to jump Nina after Nina had slapped Rick.
